The closest airport to Capri is the Naples Capodichino Airport. It takes about 15 minutes to get from the airport to the Molo Beverello port where you will catch a ferry that will get you to Capri in about an hour.
The second way to reach Capri is through Rome. Keep in mind that this will require additional travel by way of train. From Rome, the fastest public transportation to Capri is the high-speed train that runs from the Termini station in Rome to the central train station in Naples in about an hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach Naples you can make your way to Molo Beverello port and catch a ferry that will get you to Capri in about an hour.
The wedding will be held in Capri Town. The town of Capri is divided into the port area of Marina Grande and the downtown, centered around the Piazzetta. When making your travel plans, please do so according to this area. Hotels where the wedding party will be staying are listed below, however any hotel within the Piazzetta will work just fine.
Arrival to Capri should take place NO LATER than Monday, 9/1, with the first wedding event kicking off early afternoon on Tuesday, 9/2. If you arrive on Tuesday and miss the boat departure for the Welcome Party, you will need to find your own way to event venue.
CAPRI IS A WALKING TOWN. After you arrive at the Piazzetta, you'll find that cars are not permitted to go any further, so prepare to explore on foot. Make sure to pack comfy walking shoes and plan to switch into your stylish heels when you get to your destination.
